End the year differently.
Join us for seven days in beautiful Chiang Mai, where yoga becomes the foundation for a deeper experience of Thailand — its nature, food, culture, people and wonderfully unhurried way of life.
The Magic Chiang Mai Yoga Retreat is an intimate gathering designed for those who want more than a conventional yoga holiday. We’ll practice together, explore together, share meals and experiences, spend time in nature, and create plenty of space simply to slow down and enjoy being here.
And as one year comes to an end and another begins, we’ll take time to reflect, let go of what no longer serves us, and step into 2027 with greater clarity and intention.
Chiang Mai has been a center of spirituality and contemplative life for centuries. Ancient temples sit beside bustling markets, mountains rise just beyond the city, and nature is never very far away.
It’s the perfect setting to step outside your normal routine.
Our retreat will combine daily yoga and meditation with carefully chosen experiences around Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand.
Rather than filling every hour of every day, we’ll maintain a balance between practice, exploration, community and personal time.
You’ll have opportunities to:

Our practices will draw from Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, along with pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy.
Some practices will be dynamic and energizing; others will be quiet, restorative and introspective.
More than simply practicing postures, we’ll explore yoga as it was intended — as a means of understanding ourselves, working skillfully with the mind, and becoming more present in our lives.
The retreat is suitable for different levels of experience. You don’t need to be an advanced practitioner or particularly flexible. Come with curiosity and a willingness to practice.

This won’t be seven days confined inside a retreat center.
Chiang Mai itself is part of the retreat.
We’ll venture out into the city and surrounding countryside, experience places that make Northern Thailand special, eat local food, spend time in nature and allow room for spontaneous discoveries along the way.
There will also be free time. Treat yourself to a massage. Wander through a market. Find a beautiful café. Visit a temple. Read by the pool. Explore Chiang Mai on your own — or simply do nothing.
The idea is not to escape life for a week.
It is to experience life more fully and more consciously.

There’s something particularly meaningful about gathering at the end of one year and the beginning of another.
Our time together will include a special New Year practice and reflection, creating space to acknowledge the year that has passed and consciously welcome the one ahead.
Not resolutions.
Not pressure to reinvent yourself.
Simply an opportunity to become quiet enough to recognize what matters — and carry more of that into 2027.

Each day will unfold at its own pace, with a balance of practice, exploration, rest and time simply to enjoy being in Chiang Mai. While no two days will be exactly alike, a typical day might look something like this:
Morning
Begin the day with meditation, pranayama and yoga practice, followed by a relaxed brunch together.
Daytime
Venture out to experience the beauty and culture of Northern Thailand — visit an ethical elephant sanctuary, explore ancient temples, immerse yourself in local culture and nature, or enjoy some unstructured time to follow your own interests.
Afternoon
Slow things down. Enjoy a traditional Thai massage, relax by the pool, learn the flavors of Thailand in a Thai cooking class, discover one of Chiang Mai’s wonderful cafés, wander through the city, take a nap, read a book — or simply do nothing at all.
Evening
Experience another side of Chiang Mai as the city comes alive after dark. We’ll explore its colorful night markets, discover some of its vibrant live music scene, share great food and conversation, and enjoy evenings together — with plenty of freedom to make the experience your own.
And for our final day, we’ll trade the yoga mat for the mountains. We’ll set out on a full-day journey to Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest peak, exploring its spectacular mountain landscapes and some of the natural beauty that makes Northern Thailand so special.
Some days will be filled with discovery and adventure. Others will be deliberately spacious. The retreat is designed to leave room for both — doing and being.

December 27, 2026 – January 3, 2027
Our Magic Samui Retreat was everything we dreamed of — and more. Set at the stunning Vikasa Yoga Retreat in Koh Samui, Thailand, our days began with the sound of ocean waves and sunrise yoga in a gorgeous open-air shala overlooking the sea. Surrounded by lush tropical nature, we reconnected with our bodies, our breath, and something deeper within ourselves.
We shared nourishing, delicious meals made with love, relaxed in our beautiful cliffside rooms, and explored the island’s magic — from sunset cruises to elephant sanctuaries, night markets to crystal-clear beaches. More than anything, we shared presence, laughter, and meaningful moments with one another and the warm, smiling people of Thailand.
It was a week to remember — full of movement, stillness, play, and peace.
🧘♀️ Yoga. Nature. Adventure. Community.
💛 The magic was real — and it’s just the beginning.
